Brake Pedal Goes to Floor
#41
Looks like the nightmare is finally over. Installed the second new MC and bled it and bled the system at the calipers after, and I consistently get a good brake pedal. Feels like my D2 I had a while back, soft, but it stops the car no problem. Doesn't touch the floor anymore. When the truck is off, the pedal goes down about an inch like whiskeynipple0088 mentioned.
So just to recap these are all the parts that I replaced:
- Master Cylinder
- Pressure Reducing Valve
- Front Calipers
- A lot of brake fluid
I think that a new master cylinder (that was not defective) would have solved the issue in the beginning. Probably the last time I buy something made by AllMaks 4x4. I have never had any issues with BritPart....
Lucky8 agreed to take back the defective MC, so thanks to those guys for making it right.
Thank you to all for the much needed help.
