Default Brake question

Sorry if this has been answered, but all I'm finding is info on the Defender brake conversion.

Will vented, drilled and slotted rotors like that from ProLine on roversnorth work with OEM calipers? I'm confused as to how a vented rotor could fit with pads in the stock caliper.

I'm also considering the Defender swap, but wouldnt the larger calipers (theyre larger bore size, correct?) require a larger master cylinder to maintain a decent pedal feel and provide enough pressure?

Thanks for the help!

VENTED rotors will not work with stock D1 calipers. Cross drilled and slotted rotors will work with stock D1 calipers.
Here's the deal with D90 calipers:
1) They have a spacer in between the two halves. This allows the use of a Vented rotor.
2) They take a larger pad than the stock D1 calipers
3) The caliper pistons are 46mm versus the 41mm that stock D1's are
4) You can run D90 calipers on the D1 Master Cylinder without problems.
5) D110 calipers are the same as D90 calipers, but they don't have the spacer in between the tow halves. Therefore D110 calipers cannot run Vented rotors.

Hope that helps.

You need to re-read the item description, then the fine print in the picture.
The picture is of D90 vented, slotted, and drilled rotors.
The description is for D1 slotted and drilled rotors.
So yes, the linked rotors will work with D1 calipers, but the ones you receive will not be vented because vented rotors don't work with D1 calipers.

Thanks for the clarification. But no need for the attitude. Its not like it was my idea for them to photograph rotors for a different vehicle and place it under my vehicles list of parts. It doesnt even say theyre for the defender. It just says PLxxxxx shown. Their oversight, not mine.

I do appreciate you guys taking the time to help out though.

No 'tude here, LOL. Its hard to tell voice tone through typed words. And yeah IDK why RN would have a picture of a different rotors, seems kinda lazy.
