She had painted mirrors when I bought it, Then an idiot in a parking lot destroyed one and vs having another one painted and never matching 100% I just installed black ones (still have the 1 good original Woodcote green one in my shop). It said LSE on the sides.

LSE: Lightstone Edition or Luxury Sport Edition?

Judging from the window sticker, it seems the dash decals were a dealer add on, unrelated to Land Rover at the time. And, it seems that Land Rover installed nicer seats and limited wheels to make them a "50th Anniversary Special Edition." Even though all 1998's had the rear window 50th decals, only the LSE trim had the seat and wheel upgrades, and logo'd floormats.

So, All LSE's with the Lightstone piping and the TWR wheels were considered "Special Editions."

We may never really know how many of what trim were produced. Heck, Land Rover probably didn't even keep a record. They were phasing out the D1 and rolling into the DII platform at that time. Reaching into the parts bin and slapping on what they could until they ran out. The box is probably still sitting in a closet somewhere over in Solihull.
