Broken Rear shock!

Default Broken Rear shock!

I popped the stock shaft on one of my rear shocks a couple of weeks ago (off the top mount, broke clean off), and when I went to remove the top mount, I twisted the stud completely off.

Now I have to replace the entire piece that bolts to the frame rail, but I don't know exactly what it's called.

Can anyone help me?

Also in case anyone is wondering, it looks like I am going to buy a gently used set of Bilsteins off a friend of mine to replace the stockers.

Thanks very much! My friend sent me a message offering 2 inch drops, but I think I'm going to be sticking with stockers for now.

Good idea, with longer shocks and/or mounts, you need longer brake lines.

Why would anyone want to drop it two inches? Most of us lift it 2 inches when the original springs are sagging.

That way you can use stock length shocks with a lift. Im actually trying to fab up some raised ones so I can run longer travel shocks plus the stock ones are prone to breaking.

A spring drop allows for greater axle articulation.
