Default Bumper Design Ideas

Can you guys give me some ideas as what determines a good offroad bumper from a bad one. FRONT AND BACK

What things would you like to see or are preferred?

Please don't laugh at my preschool looking bumper, I learned how to use this program in mins and designed a rear bumper before designing this one. It is very hard to get the bars to look right.

Only ideas I could come up with is shorter lower overhang for better approach angle.

I will probably be building my own bumpers, starting with the rear.

Heres what I have come up with so far, not much different, only that it is correct measurements.

not to shabby...... you sould look for a real auto cad program and then you can get dimensions down.

looks awesome though

Thanks,

The dimensions are to scale,

Is there any suggestions as to what I should add or do?

Only thing I could possibly think are maybe some shackles or D-rings on the rear bumper. Front looks like what I've always wanted to build

I'd add shackle mount points to front and rear. I'd also build LED lights into the rear bumper for turn signal, marker/brake and reverse but that's just me. Make sure both are tucked as tight up against the body as possible for approach/departure angles.

Great big "D" rings and a CB antenna mount, I would also put expanded steel across the grill part to protect the radiator.
