Default HSE Design Vs. Supercharged Design

In comparing the HSE design to the Supercharged design I am really split. Ieally like the HSE lights and grill better than the Supercharged Lights but I like the Supercharged wheels and side vents better than the HSE.

Thus far I added the SC wheels to my HSE and may add the vents this spring to have what I consider the perfect combo.

Yes. A post I can contribute to!

I like the SuperCharged Grill, Side Vents, and Wheels better than the HSE. But, you can also get these products from aftermarket vendors and customize it to your liking. I seriously contemplated getting the supercharged, but I just had a hard time justifying the additional 16 grand for it. I know its faster, but not fast enough for the additional charge. JMO.

My dealer here in IL did upgrade one they sold with the SC aesthetics for about 4K. It did look good and they blinged out the wheels with chromes too

My local dealers are selling Strut Grill packages with the Range Rovers. I know Strut doesn't appeal to everyone, but when you see it in person, it sure is impressive. I am considering doing a Strut package upgrade and getting the wheels from another source instead of the dealer. The dealer charges too much for the wheels.

MadDawg, what was the dealer asking for the wheels?

Skyguy, that is a really good deal especially when you factor in the cost of wheels.

The dealer told me it would be about $1k per wheel + over $300 per tire + $50 per wheel for installation costs. If you do the math that is about over $5400 total without including taxes. I know many people do not like customizing their vehicles and like to stick with the stock wheels or change the wheel with the original manufacturer wheel options (I am one of those people, because I also wanted SC wheels). But, if you think about it, putting SC wheels on a HSE, really is customizing the vehicle. So, if I am going to customize and spend over $5 thousand dollars on wheels, then I rather go with much nicer looking wheels. I don't plan on going off roading so I am thinking of going with 22s. 22s looks really good and you still get a good amount of tirewith it. Also, I figure if Cadillac can get away with offering 22s on their standard luxury upgrade package, then I can't see why a Range Rover can't ride as well if not better on 22s.

Just my two cents.

22's are nice on a RR, I have seen them in person. If you are staying on road then why not. I have the SC 20's and I wish they were a little bigger. However they ride nicely (still enough cushion).

Luxury, how much did you pay for your wheels? I am trying to figure out if my LR dealer is crazy or consistent with the market. Let me know.

When I saw the truck I thought it was a SC, and I couldn't believe the price. Then I relized it was not a SC, though it sure looked good.

I bought it privately from a person who was switching off the SC rims for a custom set. He had no need for the SC rims and tires so he sold them to me for $2,000! A rare situation for sure.
