Default buying new tires, who has the best?

Im buying new tires for my 98 Disco and was wondering who makes the best looking all terrain/ mud terrain tire for the money. the disco is not lifted so I can't go real big just looking for something to make it look more aggressive, made sit just outside the wheel well. any suggestions?!?

Go to TreadWright Tires and check out their 245"s. They may be retreads, but they are really good tires.

If you're buying a tire based on looks I'd say it doesn't matter what you get, as long as you like it. Just cruise the tire websites and get whatever strikes your fancy.

I have to disagree slightly about treadwrights now. I have about 15 sets on my fleet now and have had 3 tires catastrofically fail in the last year. Two were vulcanization problems with the cap that were found before installation or within 6 miles. The third took some sidewall damage and came apart at low speed. Granted all of my tires see hardcore off road use inthe the rocky nevada desert, but 3 out of 60ish tires is too many to ensure my employees safety. We have switched exclusively to the BFG KM2. However, the offroad performance of them was equal to the KM2 and was very pleased with them. If they make it past 10miles I would have confidence in them. Treadwright has made good on all of the problems an dare a good company to deal with.
