I've got Cooper STT's on mine and I love 'em. 245/75/16, but I've got a 2" lift. They'd probably still work unlifted. Not your cheapest option, but they are quality.

Are the treadwrights good on a everyday road driver? how long do they last? is 245/75/16 the biggest I can go on a stock 1999 Dicso?

What is the largest tire size with a 2" lift? I know we covered this before in previous threads but I'm just to lazy to search :P

33s I believe, but with some minor trimming.

The amount of trimming will depend on if you keep your sway bars. Minor trimming with the sway bars attached, much much more with them off. However, you're articulation suffers a lot with sway bars attached. Then again if your shocks are short your articulation will be limited anyways. There are a LOT of factors to think about other than "what's the biggest tire I can shove in there". Do some research and get a plan for your truck. Figure out what you want to be able to do with your truck and how much money you want to spend. Then build your truck accordingly.

33's will make your D1 even more of a dog on the road too.

33s on a stock D1 reminds me of those ghetto cars where there.is no space between fender and tire.

I love the look of Coopers and KM2s

Then stick with the stock tire size.

Don't be a mall crawler.

Or, go with all-terrains. A happy medium if you're only a mild off roader. You live around me, we'll try them out
