Default A/C Compressor Clutch replacement

How bad is this job?

It looks like I'll be removing the radiator. While it's off being rodded, I'll be doing the fan clutch. But I've developed a bearing noise that I believe is coming from the A/C compressor clutch.
Is it possible to do the R&R without releasing all the 134? the PO just had it charged, and it blows really, really cold.
Can I just do this in-situ?

one method - AC Compressor clutch bearing replacement

another - buy a used entire AC compressor from salvage ($35), and swap the clutch unit to unit. There is some slack in the hose connections, as compressor can be laid aside when doing head gaskets.
