Cabella's TrailGear Seat Cover Instal - Disco I
I can't say enough good things about Cabela's TrailGear seatcovers - they look great - sturdy, ready for the trail as if they were made for a Land Rover. The installation is very simple and straightforward - hard to mess up - hard to over-think.
If you read no further - the number one tip for installing is to iron them before you install.
Even after hanging them up for several days, the wrinkles did not go away. So, applying a warm iron with steam made the difference between "good" and "great."
The only challenge had to do with fitting the strap that's supposed to go across the lower cushion. The Disco seat isn't built like the seat in the instructions...
So I ended up running the straps through the bottom cinches. It worked fine.

I got one for about $36 shipped to see how I like it.
They have the back seat cover, too - and they come

I keep getting confused between my 96 disco and 97 explorer.
The seat covers fit real good on the rover, with the hoop style headrest. The sides are adjustable with the cord and elastic straps. Check out the pic above.
Ignore the pollen on the hood of the rover. That's normal for North Florida in January!

I guess since both are adjustable (right) you could then make them as large as possible to fill out the top of the cushion. Screw comfort...and I'm rarely using em anyway. I would think the cushion headrest would fit better as it seems to take up more space than the hoop.
