Default Can someone help with my Power Steering Leak

Hello Good People,
Looks like the day has arrived and my power steering is leaking serious fluid. It doesn't appear to be coming from the hoses or the reservoir. I opened the hood and took this image standing in front of the drivers side fender. The leak appears to coming from underneath. The yellow circle points to the section in question.

What am I looking at in terms of fixing?

Is there a temp fix to get me out of this jam? Some kind of temporary puddy patch or something?

Its below freezing outside and I thought I was done with being under the hood for the Winter.

Thanks in advance

I had a pretty good leak on my pump at the input & output shafts.
Used this stuff and it worked as advertised. Kinda smells like Elmer's glue to me.

Thanks for the response.
So just pour the proper amount in along with ATF and drive it?
My concern is I may not be driving far enough for the magic to work.

Thanks

I just topped off the reservoir with the stuff. Didn't add additional atf.

Sweet!'
Thanks for the tip. She is leaking pretty bad. As a temp job I wonder what I could spray on the outside after I get it scrubbed clean maybe Permatex Spray Sealant or Flex Glue? Just trying to cover my temp bases.

Thanks

There's a seal on the bottom that is probably leaking and needs to be replaced. Can't tell b/c the picture you took is from the top. It's leaking a lot so not sure if the additive will help but worth a stab.

I appreciate the response.
With working 12hr days and it being freezing outside my best temporary bet is to get it all cleaned up and dried and apply as much spray sealant in that leaking area. It aint pretty but that’s all I can do at this moment.

Thanks All

Hello All,

Here is an update on my leaking power steering.

First off the leak was bad! For the last 11days it has been pouring out, as in refilling the reservoir every morning before driving to work, and again after work before heading home. I tried the BlueDevil Transmission Sealer but can't say it actually worked due to the amount of miles needed to drive the car before sealer would start working. I read the forum for days and came across a 2015 post by OverRover saying to use Lucas Transmission Fix in the power steering and not the PS stop leak. It worked! The truck went from having ATF fluid pouring out to now seeing a few small drops on cardboard over night.

Much thanks to the awesome members that have posted and shared their knowledge over the years.

Respect,
