Default cargo storage

After seeing pics the other day got me thinking there has to be a nice looking lightweight cheap way to add storage in the cargo area

Drawers guys make/ sell are real nice but pricy and heavy, plus wood and moisture don't mix forever

Thought aluminum but that nčeds bending and can get pricey fast

Another thought is those stacked drawers you can buy like sterilite brand or something

Unstack em and place side by side, screw together , maybe thin diamond plate aluminum on top for durability

Think that would give cheap water resistant storage as long add yo don't go crazy with stacking weight on top

Thoughts??

Pics of other options???

The other option is just build a wood shelf and slide containers under it had that pic from think fish eh also like that idea

Laid up from surgery just thinking things to do

What about those knock off brand of a Pelican cases? Still not super cheap, but semi light and durable. I'm going to start looking myself.

I know it's sacrilegious, but I lived in China for over 3 years and had a development company. I'm going to call on my old partner and see if he can find some options.

They have those knock off pelican cases on Alibaba.

i use these

waterproof and vented. very secure. very durable. stackable. when I need my rear cargo area, I can throw them on the rack.
I have seen them at $100 + on the web. I bought 4 of them for $25 apiece at an army surplus store.

I have some of the panels available if you want to remove your rear AC. The only one I don't have is the lower one where the cargo storage/jump seat should go. I think I can find one though, if you are interested.

Do you wear the helmet and some goggles while driving as well?

Mine is by no means light, it's built heavy for durability, but in the grand scheme of things... the cargo box isn't much of an issue considering how heavy the materials inside are.

(Also, sorry, really the only picture I've got at the moment. :\ )

Nice logos on the drawers.

Be careful your scarf is not too long Dusty, you could die like Isadora Duncan!
