I've read a few threads on this forum about removing the cats on my 95 disco but never could find a definitive answer. If i hack the cats off will it still run ok? I am fine with it throwing a CEL just don't want to screw up the performance. Thanks

 

I've done it. It will sound a little louder, smell more, and that's it.

 

Your '95 does not have rear O2's so you wont get a CEL.
Take the cats to the scrap yard, $80 each maybe more.
