Default Chevy rocker covers on D1 4.0?

First off, I'm new to this V8 scene. I've only ever owned 4 cylinders but from those I learned a lot about cars and engines. I've been studying D1's since March of 2013 when I bought mine and it currently has the whole engine bay pulled for a motor refresh. Anywho...

With that out the way, will a small or big block chevy rocker cover fit our heads? With 4 cyliners every motor has a different valve cover based on spark plugs and such. But I look at V8 rocker covers and they almost all look the same. Long rectangle with typically 4 bolts.

My guess is no, the measurements are slightly different, but I'm hoping to be surprised that it will work so I can just buy new ones instead of refurbing the ones I have. Thanks!

P.S. yes I searched google and the forum to no avail.

SBC Chevy ones will not fit, BBC will definitely not fit.

Only thing that might would be old buick 215 covers.

Just clean and paint your old ones

Thanks for the responses. I plan on having them powder coated, but the main reason I asked was for the following:

Clear Vue Concepts
