Abran, do you know if there's a ringtone that does the same thing? I'd love to program this into my friend's phone as a joke so he'd know it's me when I call. He thinks I'm a little too impractical and not sensible enough (he's the type that prefers long underwear and socks for a birthday gift rather than a new toy or a little 'pampering') Me on the other hand? I like to have fun!!!

Although, having thought about it a bit I did give him an encyclopedia set as a joke and he didn't appreciate it too much...

Ebay offers the ringtone on their app.

Long underwear is great, for when I go snowboarding.

A set of encyclopedias are a great gift, if:

1) you are too short to reach your steering wheel and pedals of your land rover

2) you live in a very windy area and have lots of loose paper documents on your outdoor desk that need holding down

3) want to teach a history lesson on research techniques from the 80's

BTW- Love Bukowski

Yeah, but would you really want long underwear as a gift? I may take them if a male is modeling them for me I didn't just say that....

See? THERE IS some practicality to an encyclopedia set - I knew it! Thank you for the wonderful ideas.. I will be sure to pass them along Your #2 answer reminds me of the scene at the lake in the movie 'Love Actually'. Don't know if you've seen it or not but it sums it up perfectly. Colin Firth is a writer working outside at his desk by the lakeside; his Portugese (?) maid/'servant'' brought him a cup of tea and a biscuit and removed the mug that was holding all of his papers down. You can imagine the rest of the scene.. One of my favorite chick flicks. An impractical romantic - that's me

Bukowski is the greatest - I love him! Thanks for the tip on the ebay app - I'll be sure to check it out.

The clock will fit just above the switches where the coin holder is, unless that is where you store your iPod.

Im tempted to get a iPod jack refurbed radio from those guys. But I do have an extra radio that I might just pull apart and see if I can do some mods.
iPod?? I'm still using cassettes Perhaps a refurbed/new to me factory radio would be an option as it drives me crazy not to be able to see what station I have on (not like there's that many options where I live).

Since I just replaced the bulb in my clock, I think I like the looks of the green LED more. What did you use for the bulb?
I got a bulb locally but had to move the contact wires to the sides to make it work right.

Yes, well that would be nice but unfortunately I believe our 'romance' self-destructed before it ever had a chance to bloom He has gone AWOL...and I think he thinks I'm a pest
