Recently; about 90% of the time, when I insert my ignition key, it will not turn the assembly. However When I open my drivers door and then close it, I reinsert the key and Vroooooom. Really freaks me out, not sure why.

 

Pop the trim piece off of the top of the gear shift ****, tighten the nut.
See if that fixes it.
