Default Console Master Switch flopping around

Okay people, I know I'm not the only one on here experiencing this after looking on ebay & seeing most of the consoles for sale looking just like mine, so there has to be a fix that I can't find with a search. The tabs holding the Window master switch are all snapped off the console allowing no way to secure the switch plate & the whole assembly to move around or pretty much fall out at will. Have any of you came up with a repair for this? I even thought about hot gluing popsicle sticks to the back of the console & using longer screws...

hot glue works great for these type things in a totally static area but only seems to bond for so long in an area that you need to push on

hot glue worked great so far to hold the gutter screen in my Saudi grill and the LR emblem on but would not hold in the sunglass holder clip on my dodge ram

I know there are different types of hot glue sticks just not sure where to buy em

guess either way it is worth a shot you may be better off using some small pieces of plastic though from a hobby store, then you could go to Lowes and get the 2 part epoxy for melting plastics works great on storm trooper armor
