Default To cup holder or not to cup holder

Do I add the DII style cup holders to my DI or no?
You guys that have them how well do you like them?
They are huge and bulky and look like they would be in the way.
There are some in my donor truck and I am trying to decide if I swap them over or just sell them.

I love them. Great place for my cell phone and every now and then a drink. I think they must be standard on the 03-04 because I don't even have the slideout cup holder like my D1 had.

I don't like them. They're too big and get in the way. Especially when you use the CDL once in a while. You already got one in the dash. I never came across something that doesn't fit in it, at least something you're allowed to drink in a car.

I use a cheap set of holders that hook into the vents... cost a buck at walmart and work great. The real bonus is that they also keep the drinks cold because of the air conditioner blowing on them... actually get colder than the fridge...

But if I had a set of those I would install them.

I tried to move the CDL lever in the donor and they were in the way.
98% of my drinks are in cans so the in-dash holders work fine.
If I drink anything else I set it next to me, between the center console and my hip.
I think I'm going to take them out of the donor and then put them up for sale.
I've gone 4yrs without them, I think I can go an other 4.
Thanks for the input guys.

I'll buy em, my in dash cup holder is broken as all plastic ones of this design do (vw had it also and also broke). I priced a replacement one and it was like $200 from some Rover site.
