Are d1 front shocks the same as an rrc ?
Good afternoon all,
Question to the Oracle,
I just picked up an 89' RRC, with a collapsed right spring and worn shocks. I have a brand-new pair of front BILSTEINS I had purchased at one point for a 97' D1; will they work on an RRC ?
I have already ordered new front springs, and figured I could have these installed as well if they fit ? They are mint new. Info most greatly appreciated. Thanks

Yes, the Bilstein Shocks from a '97 DI will fit a '89 RRC.
It's also a good idea to spray the 4 nuts on the shock tower/turret ring with some penetrating oil before you start removal.
I don't care what climate you live in it just seems those studs love to snap.
