Default D1 parking brake cable?

I've tried the usual websites, (Roverland, BPUtah, Atlantic British, yes even Ebay,) but none appear to carry the parking brake cable for the D1. Are there some other sources I should try before randomly ordering one from the first website that shows up on Google?

(Mine was disconnected. Probably, to my horror, because it started to get very hot when I hooked it up! Grounding issue, I'm sure. Needless to say, I quickly disconnected it again since it was seized anyway. And I'll be checking those ground connections under the hood.)

Bump/update:
Found a cable from Partsgeek. Finally got it installed, works great! But now the parking brake lever won't click into place when I pull it up. I can stop the car from rolling, as long as I sit there holding it. So I have two questions:
1. Is it possible to (somewhat easily) take the handle apart and fix it? I'm guessing there's a spring or something in there that has died.
2. What is the cross-compatibility of this part with other rovers? I.E. if I can't find a D1 at the boneyard, can I pull a brake lever from a D2 or RRC?
Thanks all!

P.S. Never did try calling anyone.

The spring in the handle is stuck that’s why it won't engage the click lockon the hand break. Use a long piece of wire up inside the handle to get it unstuck it's quite fiddly to get at.

Thanks, I'll try that.
