got a cal from my son and his 2016 Jeep Patriot (2wd) quit on him. picked up a tow dolly and took it to the dealer. seems the camshaft broke in half ad he needs a replacement motor... $8000!! That's about 8 times more than I paid for my truck!! Just thought we should inject some good news about a Land Rover over a Jeep!!

P.S. I did talk him into the extended warranty so it is covered.. for once he listened to the 'old man'

 

what is the name of the warranty company ? probably out of business after this

 

My Land Rover's have saved the day more than any friend with a Jeep wants to admit, or my inlaw with his 2010 Ford Raptor

 

He got it with the Patriot when it was new in 2016, best $2k he ever spent... now.. Century Service is the name on the policy.
Not sure if they would take a 20+ year old Land Rover
