Default D1 specific tool list?

With all the info in prepping a vehicle for expedition travel, has anyone put together a tool list needed for our vehicles? I usually haul around more than I need and miss some small tool that's a challenge to improvise, so I would like to put together a kit without overages to cover most repairs needed to bring it back to town or at best, continue the adventure. Any thoughts? Russ

I agree with hub socket. Other than that just your standard tool box. If you asked the list of spare parts.... Well that would be a long list. Lol.

Ps. Ensure the tool box has sockets up to 24mm

I seem to remember seeing the hub socket as a 53mm size - is that correct?

Is there anyplace where a open/box-end wrench is a plus as opposed to a socket or open-end adjustable? I carry my regular 6-19mm set plus adjustables up to 12", but any larger sizes? I just found the open-end for my fan clutch and threw that one in and I suppose I'm over thinking, but I feel much better - especially with a used vehicle - knowing I have tools. Russ

So far, I've liked an open end for the oil drain and front O2's. I have somewhat limited time as of now wrenching on my first D1.
