Default Dash compatibility
Question: will a Discovery II dash assembly fit a 96 DI? I've got a bad case of the potato chip curls and found a really nice dash from a 00 for a good price.

Yes it will fit if you keep the D1 electronics.

The only thing that might not work is the electrical connector on the passenger side airbag.

Check that as the air bags are a different shape.
