Default Dead spot off idle

Okay, got in the new MAF and Intake temp sensor installed. Fixed the massive missing, but now I have a dead spot when I step on the gas from a stop that is about a second & a half. Doesn't try to stall, just does nothing & then it takes off. Do not have this issue once I'm moving, and it doesn't matter whether the truck is warm or cold just that I stopped and want to go again. Ideas?

I have an Ultragauge, but don't monitor the TPS. Will set that one to read in the morning & let you know. Just what I need, another sensor going bad... Thanks for the suggestion! How's your truck running now??

My noisy starter went today waiting for rain to stop to fight with the heat shield to put on the spare

You may have a dead spot on the TPS, cleaned the IACV?

And the hits just keep coming!! Hear the starter is a bear to get to... It's pouring here too. Waiting for the rain to slow down so I can fix a few things myself. IACV?? again with the acronyms... This is worse than a fortune 500 company

Tom, I found a Throttle Position setting on my UG, but is reads ABS TP1% on the gauge. It reads (cold start) 12.2, and when revved to 2500 (in park) 27.2. Haven't driven it yet to see what it does, but the dead spot was noted.

Just turn on the key wait for ug to boot then slowly push gas to floor and see if the value increases at a decent rate probly Max out at like 93 or so at the floor

Oh got the starter out put in new reached for a bolt starter fell out of engine and pulled harness breaking knock sensor, I then started the engine and diagnosed the chirp that started the other day as the rear bearings on my alt. Replaced it with a spare that has bad tach lead but no more noise, also found the fan clutch is wobling so put the old one back on for now and runs warm again so I am doing awesome today

Will try that in the morning, but the highest I could get earlier was 27.2 (but I wasn't getting on the throttle that much).
