It's seems to be a LOT of money and a LOT of work, (over 10k by my math).

Would seem to be better bet to just find a factory diesel in europe and have it shipped over or find one already here and get it.

Land Rover is still selling the Defender just about everywhere except the US. Wish they would just get it over here already.
