Default Differential Dash Light Stays On

After a always too short frolic in the local mud yesterday, my dash indicator would not switch off. The CDL moves and firmly engages in the different areas, and truck seems to drive OK. So how common is it for the indicator switch to jam, or am I really not in "High - Unlocked" ?

Note: this will allow many to comment on how little my truck actually feels mud between the tires. Truck's primary duty is college commute for offspring, it lives in the dorm lot during the week.

Guessing the switch is stuck, mine seems to sometimes takes little, maybe cdl linkage is loose or bent ever so slight

It is a plunger switch and my guess it is simply 'stuck' from lack of use. I'd try to move into and out of the locked position repeatedly.

This video might help...
