Default Direction of steering damper mounting on diff bracket

is there any difference in the engagement of the steering damper whether the fat end is on the diff mount of the steering bar?
with this terrafirma 811- should the blue collar be at the diff mount end?
pic attached.

Makes no difference. Good luck with their bushings, they suck. They'll be cracked and shriveled up within a year.

+1, the damper direction is fine. As for the bushings (like most TF products) fishEH is correct they suck!!

Get a set of Polyurethane Bushings and you will be very glad you did.
These fit the Damper and the Front Shocks (Upper/Lower) and Rear Shocks (Lower).

Thanks for the tips. Will check out those bushings. What brand of damper did you guys choose?

My newer TF one just sh*t the bed. Rough compression and extension, and bushings were toast. Pulled out my old beat up OME damper with original bushings and slapped it on. Good to go!
