Exclamation Disco 1 power steering gearbox rebuild kit?

Does anyone know where I can get a power steering gearbox rebuild kit? Assuming this kit contains various seals and such needed to repair a leaking power steering gearbox.

This is the closest thing I could find, and within my budget. Any thoughts?

For that price it's likely Britpart (or suck) so it may or may not be any good. I'd try to find someone who's used one before buying.

I need to get one myself.

LAND ROVER STEERING GEAR BOX SEAL KIT DISCO DEFENDER RC | eBay

How about this one? Comes from MiamiRovers down in Florida. The other one I showed you guys is much closer, in NY. They look about the same. These guys are sctechy though. All the represenative are muslim/indian speaking and they over price many of their parts.

I haven't had my steering box apart to see what all seals are needed, so can't answer. I'd call them and ask if it's everything you need.

I've dealt with them before, though it was about 8 or 9 years ago. I bought about $500 worth of used Defender parts.

I had re-sealed my 97 disco and my 99 disco. That price is good, however I would be concerned with generic seals in a component that is notorious for seal defects. I used indian head gasket sealer when I put my 99 back together. No problems and do not expect any.

If you are going to go with cheap, aftermarket seals, go REALLY cheap, so that you don't feel bad if they suck.

Default is there an echo in here?

seriously... this is not a component you want to go cheap on. Best to build it right the first time with the right parts rather than do it twice or three times and spend all your money on learning lessons.

The Corteco kit below it is probably decent. I use a number of other Corteco seals and haven't had any issues.
Look here: http://www.rovahfarm.com/DiscoISteering.htm about 1/4 way down the page. $49 for the Corteco and shipping would be about $6 USPS small flat rate priority mail. Trevor ships flat rate if possible. Ask him to remove them from the original box if they won't fit in a small flat rate without doing it.
