Disco 1 Transfer case issue??

I think you will be good to go once back together?
A blown CV will def stop you from moving, locking the CDL should have kept you moving but whatever.

@Spike... Locking it did but i think i was only running on the rear wheels at that point right? Plus there was a clunking noise every so often. Didn't want to risk messing something else up.Also we've already had a bit of snow up here so i wanted to get the 4wd working before it got nasty. Ill update once i change them out and let you guys know if that was the issue.

Hi Francisco

I had the same clunking noise, especially turning sharp left.
Terrible news is that I dropped the gearbox and found that the 3d diff half shafts holding the planetary gears to be broken and gears seized on shafts.

Update: Changed out both left and right front CV Joints.... That got her moving. Now on to the dozens of other small issues....
