Default Disco cruise control

Hi Guys,
My cruise control didn't work when i got my discovery, but I've replaced the vacuum bellows and the piping - and it still wont work. The switch lights up when pressed, but nothing.....
Is this an ecu issue?

Regards

Daz.

Make sure you've attached the vacuum hose to the correct nipple on the vacuum pump. As you face the front of the truck, the correct nipple is closest to the headlight.

I do not think the ECU comes into play with the CC does it?

What about the brake pedal portion of the system?
