By the way, twisted, I love your current rig. How do you like those Nitto Mud Grapplers? Are they unusually loud for mud tires?

Sorry, no Eagle tugs here. All we have are Tug, Harlan and EquiTech bag tugs. My buddies have a few Eagle bag tugs though.

I would choose a D1 over a D2 if I had to choose again.

Thanx!! I lOVE the tire, HATE the road noise!! well at lease it took me two years of listening to what's the equivalent of flying in a lancaster bomber ever day to get to that point.. tire has the best road manner's of any mud tire I've ever owned. Great in any condition on any surface..

I almost brought a brand new '95 5-speed in that color.
That mileage isint bad for that year.
The steering wheel is off center which has me worried, could be just a alignment issue or something more troublesome.
The truck looks very clean for a "buy here pay here" lot.
Just take your time in looking, test drive as many as you can and buy the one that is right of you.
And make damn sure you do not go over your budget.

EDIT:The asking price on my '97 was originally $6200, it sat for 6 months and then was $5800. I paid $4500 cash tax/title/plates with 152,change on the odometer. That was April '07.

Something tell me the vehicle options listed may or may not apply to the vehicle pictured.

I never knew a D1 came with "Ride Control,.....Rear Air Bags, Side Air Bags, Traction Control" and I'm curious where they hid the "Running Boards, Splash guards,"

As a reference, I got my '96 4 years ago with 81K turns on the Odometer here in MD for $5500. However, I got the paperwork supporting a dealer maintained vehicle (for the most part) and the 60K Maintenance completed just shy of the 79K mark.

I have some slight surface rust, however, engine is solid and does not leak , and despite refusing to replace the rotors for me as a condition of purchase - State of MD MADE them in order to get the inspection certificate for the sale!

Have had some minor issues with Rear Window ECU, Fuel Pump and some odd noises as well as invested a LOT of time reading the RAVE and getting to know it. Worth EVERY minute and penny.

However, remember you ARE going to purchase Premium (93 Octane) fuel - so if disposable income may be a little tight........

Good luck - but they are worth EVERY thing you put into them - typically.

Well, unless you got a 2003 that didn't have the Oil Pump recall completed before it went out of warranty that is...
