Default Disco suffered a stroke.

Just finished splicing in my u haul trailer wiring harness and testing the lights on my camper. I realized the right side running lights won't come on, tail, bumper, and headlight (when turned to the first ignition position). Fuses look fine and so do the bulbs. It's a 4 pin connection. Anyone have this happen?

Just found a 10amp fuse blown. It was tricky to see at first.

U Haul wired me up before the trip that just blew up my trans, keep a TON of fuses on you, I was blowing one every 30 minutes. Take the wiring off soon as you're done.

Oh wonderful, sorry to hear about your trans. Do you know which color on the land rover side is the constant 12volts? My set up is a 4 flat but my trailer has a fifth wire (black) that is used in the porch and interior light.

On the Rover side the pin #1 is a purple/brown and it runs back to the 20 amp fuse F6 in satellite fuse panel 2 under dash.

Obviously it was done wrong. I've never blown a fuse related to trailer wiring on any vehicle I've wired. Then again, I've never let a shop do the wiring.

If you didn't have the problem before the wiring, and you did it like this: https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...29/#post179231 then you probably have a fault in the trailer.
Any axillary lights, like interior lights, should be wired to the constant power circuit, the purple/brown.

Yeah, that was my mistake, I was just too freaking hot to deal with it myself. Still, bigger problems arose on that trip...

Maybe. Personally I'd much rather have a blown fuse than a fire, which is the alternative.
