Disco Tdi300 (1998) without MAF ?
Hello,
Yesterday I found out, while checking pictures on my technical manual with the engine bay of my Disco, that there is no MAF-sensor in the airduct between filter and cooler. However my Disco has the Electronic Diesel Control (EDC). Very odd to me !
But...
Is this possibly ?
Or has an ancient owner removed the MAF ? And what, in this case, about the good function of the EDC, without MAF ?
Anybody with experience ?
Thanks !
Pierrodisco

In meantime, I stayed searching for some explanation.
I read that de MAF sensor for the Tdi-driven Discovery 1 was installed only for the automatic version (and not for the manual version like mine).
But, is installing afterwards this MAF a good idea for economy and efficiency of the Tdi-engine ?
