Question Discovery 96 P1313 Help!

I have a Disco 1996 with 146000 miles I put 91 octane gas, recently change plugs, air filter, change fuel pump (not genuine) and did test for cats and they are flowing 100% but I keep getting P1313, change O2 sensor that was previous code and dissapeared but P1313 still there, I went under water with it couple month ago and now she's running back but as soon as she heats up looses power and if I shut it down and restarted again it will gain power for 5 min aprox and restart again. What can be causing this I already spent a fortune when I flooded, and have no mechanic near by in Puerto Rico but I do have a scanner and good knowledge in mechanics. I almost get rid of Cats but will give another try. Any help is welcome.Usually when people solve the problem never give the cure.

If the cats are good I would think that it is indeed the o2 sensors. Not too bad to replace.

check the main computer..."ecu"....above the pass side fenderwell......if it got wet when you were under water...it will give you fits till you dry it out. It's easy to remove and remove one ofthe covers to check / dry out and reseal.

Another place to peek - the reluctor tabs that fly by the crank position sensor and dictate base timing. A bent or missing one is bad business.

Crank position sensors that act up when heated up can be disgnosed with a bottle of cold water, pour on sensor to cool it back down.

Might also want to try unplug your vehicle speed sensor for testing. Won't have speedometer. But a bad VSS can make engine start to shut down.

Who understand this vehicle just change oil and filter, air filter, clean maf, change rear right O2 and guess what no more p1313 and power is back but then p1138 but power is still there no i can live with p1138 but am afraid if i correct it might trigger another code this is a pain. Already change plugs might try spark cables like other post said to do?

Clean MAF sensor when engine is cold, ignition has not been touched (it warms up the sensor before cranking), with a spray cleaner made for MAF sensors. CRC is one brand.
