I was able to take some factory cross bars off an old DI yesterday. They are 3 of them that have a button to slide the teeth back for assembly. You have to drill holes in the roof rails for them.

They look like they'll fit my D2. Are they any roof racks that will attach to these cross bars?

I got them pretty cheap and I took them simply because factory cross bars can be hard to come by.

 

I've got the factore x-bars on mine, found them under the rear passenger seat. I was wondering if I could mount a roof rack directly to it using u-bolts but am a bit worried about the weight directly on the roof. There's a guy here in az that makes racks on Craigslist for something like $179.
