Default Does the 3.9 V8 have a fuel temp sensor?

I have a '98 Disco 1 with about 170k. It has the 3.9 V8 Lucas fuel injected motor (I know they stopped selling that motor in the states by '96, but I live in Ecuador) and automatic trans.

It has been having what seems like a pretty common problem judging by the number of similar posts on the boards. It starts up great when cold and will run fine as long as I don't have to idle. It will not idle for more than a minute or so, will stall if I don't give it some gas and keep the rpms over 1k, and sometimes even then it will stall. It won't start when it is warm, so if it stalls when I'm at a stop light, I'm pushing it through the intersection.

Also, something is sucking current when the car is off draining the battery if the car sits for more than a day, so I've been kind of chasing around some electrical gremlin.

Things that I've already either replaced or checked/cleaned are:
IACV
TPS
MAF
Injectors
Spark plugs and wires
Ignition coil
Alternator
Fuel Pump

Things that I've read other people on here try with similar problems are:
Fuel temp sensor
Coolant temp sensor
O2 sensor
Camshaft position sensor
Or worst case something inside the motor

I've been told by one mechanic that the car does not have a camshaft position sensor and by another that the car does not have a fuel temp sensor. Can someone here confirm that the 3.9 has both of those?

Also any input on places to look for problems would be appreciated.

No CPS in a 3.9, but the Fuel Temp Sensor(ETC6661) lives in the fuel rail
Might find some useful info here > Rover 14CUX Hot Wire Mass Flow EFI: Service and Troubleshooting
