Default Does Rhino Liner affecting putting new Fabric Headliner?

Hi I am new here and need of advice, I recently purchased a used 1997 Land Rover Discovery 1 and the headliner is ripped out and in it's place is a bad rhino liner job. Can I place the fabric liner with adhesive on top of the rhino liner, or do I have to do something special?

so the rhinoliner is applied directly to the ceiling paint? you can see all wiring and sunroof bits? the headliner is a formed fiberboard supported in a lot of area with brackets, mouldings, etc. you cant just glue it to the ceiling. if that's where you were going???

there's a lot of headliner info on this board.

I Rhino lined mine and I think it looks great.. I'm sure you could take it out and re-glue some headliner material on it.. The rhinoliner just sealed it good...

whatever fabric you put directly over the rhinoliner is going to look terrible... if it even sticks properly.

you want the headliner board from another truck that you can recover and install properly.
