I've yet to find where it is coming from. There must be a leak or something that shoots it right to the top of the battery bc there isn't radiator fluid anywhere else but there. And around the battery pan. Green means coolent right?
get rid of that black plastic reservoir tank and cap.....they are known to crack and /or leak...get the updated white tank and a new cap while you're at it....it'll pay for it self in spewed coolant costs......
yup, shows up when it is under pressure. Got mine off of Ebay. no problems since. Make sure it is the white one, the black ones tend to break easily.
Placed order for new one today. What exactly do I need to be aware of when removing the two hoses attached to the current black tank? Do I need to drain any of the fluid? Can I use the existiing hoses? Replace any of the coolent? Ive not done this before and don't want to screw it up. Thanks
no big deal at all....you'll lose a little coolant as you take the hoses off but not normally an issue....easy fix, just look over the hoses good................and have you ever replaced the thermostat ? while you've got the system opened up now'd be a good time...most auto parts stores would have that in stock, when its all back together bleed it and drive it like ya stole it .............
