Good luck!
Great suggestion, thanks!

Don't know, but if it were any thicker it wouldn't fit.

The door seals on the DII are a little thicker than the ones on the DI BUT will work just fine on the DI or even a RRC. I have sold countless door seals from DII's to Classic and DI owners and they have all been more than surprised at how easy fitment was and how much better the seal was.

It's a little thicker than stock rubber so it seals better, but takes a few weeks to break in. Doors won't shut easily until then. Use heavy duty cutters to cut cleanly.
Definitely an old thread, but how did this product hold up and was it a PITA to install?

Thanks!

The product link is dead, of course I expect this from such an old thread. There are no DII's left in bone yards today and the one's that are have seals that are old and junk.

So, what's the latest option for DI seals..

eBay may have used seals, but if you want new, try Rimmerbros.com (UK) or Congeltonservice.com (US). The RRC door seals should fit the D1, IIRC. Obviously the rear cargo door seal is different.
