In removing off the connection between the downpipe and exhaust manifold on the driver’s side

, 1 bolt snapped. I did spray the bolts the night before and morning with Ice Blaster. I only have 1 bolt holding the exhaust system, so how to proceed:

A: Remove downpipe and drill upwards (I doubt if possible) for new bolt
B: Remove exhaust manifold, pray that retaining bolts will come out, and drill out bad bolts
C: Just weld, but impossible access
D: ?

By the way, going straight pipe is not an option. Thanks for all suggestions

 

Center punch the broken stub drill and use an easy out to remove. then chase threads with a tap.
