Yea, but why not just get the LR and avoid having to cut? Wouldn't they be a direct replacement?
How difficult of a job is this by the way?
Jaguar engine mounts are made for a V12 and supposed to be basically a HD version when used in a LR. Cutting the studs off took no time at all. The job itself isn't that bad but the original nuts can be a PITA to remove especially the driver's side.
I used All-Makes ones and they’re okay. Except for the fact that I can’t get the bolt on one of the studs completely because the stud keeps rotating inside the rubber bushing. Ugh! So if there’s a mount with a straight-thru bolt, get that one.
I heard tough HD engine mounts are a bad idea because they don’t dampen the engine’s shaking and end up doing the opposite of what they’re for.

Put the Jag mounts in a few years ago, '19, when I had the engine out. Early '18, I p
ut in some of the "correct" ones by one of the cheapy brands. Kinda garbage. Jacked one side up at a time to install those.
When engine was out, I did notice that things didn't quite line up on the engine & frame. Ended up having to loosen the transfer box mounting brackets at the frame. They are slotted. Gently scooted the transfer/trans/engine assy. with a 10 lb sledge hammer until motor mounts line up.
Picture is of the cheapy mounts that were on there for only a year-ish.
I haven't ever noticed any dampening differences with the Jag vs OEM stuff. I have however noticed when the OEM ones wear out you've got a good chance of the engine sagging over time.
I went with the Jaguar stuff because I was never sent the prototype engine mounts from Safarigard... I was tired of my fan blade exploding, and the lower shroud going out along with it (those shrouds are $$$ and getting harder to come by). Jag mounts have been on 3k so far and zero issues.
After ripping my second set apart on the torque side engine and trans mounts, I took the third set and cut the studs off the new drivers side mount and dropped a grade 8 bolt through it, tightened it just over finger tight and locked it with a jam nut. Never broke again. When I pulled that motor to install in a different build the compression side mount was completely squeezed out and useless.
I have a build going on right now and have a set of the Proud Rhino HD mounts (Lucky8llc) to go in. I know the vibration will be increased, but I never want to have to get off the mtn with a ratchet strap holding my engine down again.
Yep you can do it without messing with the exhaust. I got the driver's side mount out easy & passenger side I just unbolted entire thing from the block along with the rubber mount.
