I'm gonna run the 10 series I got with the resonator installed and see if I like it before I remove the resonator. I've ran the 10 before and like it.

 

Flowmaster 10 series is installed! No resonator and all welded up. Reused resonator turn down tip. Sounds effin rad! Not too much cabin drone. She's breathing and exhaling better. I can feel it in the seat. Lol. Good throttle response. Sounds like a true V8 now. Pics to come.

 

Yeah that rear resonator can be swapped with an off the shelf tailpipe extension, mines real loud with the thrush welded( cheap flow master) but I have cats deleted

 

I left my cats in. Glad I did, it would be too loud if I pulled them..

Wow, that is a tiny muffler. I have a Thrush all-welded chambered muffler on mine, 2.5 in/out, and replaced the rear resonator with a small glasspack. Has a nice rumble to it, no one will mistake it for anything other than a V8. Also replaced the Y-pipe with new cats as well, and new O2 sensors. I'm hoping to take it to Cali in the next year, so it has to have these things in order to pass the emissions test. Now the cats in the Y-pipe are not the ones for CA, so we'll have to wait and see what happens...

 

Yeah it takes up less room, radiates less heat and only single chambered. Yours looks good.

 

navy, you should move that turndown out to stock location like the other guys pic, exhaust will get in the cabin

 

It's not getting in the cabin at all. Or that I can tell. Have had a few guests in it too and they concur. Will take it into consideration tho if it becomes a issue.
