Not trying to join pee pee contest. Just enjoy the fun Friday night posts. I too would hope to find the best parts as well. I'd like to only do a repair once. just ordered a fclutch,myself. That's why I read the thread, thanks.

 

RAVE = Rovers A'int Very Economical. And that pix above of the two water pumps, the "clean" one is of a D2 with 112K. The worn one was a D1 with 178 at the time. The "clean" used but low miles (it must have been replaced at some time) water pump was $5 at the u-pull boneyard.

And it is not a peeing contest. I'm just trying to draw him out to be more active on the forum, post a pix from time to time, etc.

 

no insult intended in regard to the pissing match. Like I said, i appreciate ALL the feedback. A littel jab here and there among males is the norm. (excuse me if any of you are female). I hope Dusty1 didn't order a fan clutch from Auto Parts Warehouse! Any money saved by purchasing from them online was lost in shipping time and wasted effort in replacing and removing the parts. I expect it will be at least 2 weeks, maybe 3 before I see my paypal account reflect a refund from them.
