Default fender trimming? (not the simple camel cut but really clopping um up)

im interested in trimming my fenders. i know its straight forward but what about the rear doors? someone, anyone got any pics? i like my setup with a 2" lift and 33s, i don't want to lift it and need all the new parts that go along with that. i don't want a stupid body lift for the simple fact of the bumper gap issue. i want to trim for the best flex i can get. tires stuff okay right now but I'm seriously considering getting pro comp steel wheels with the good amount of backspacing, plus i like the look of them. I've literally searched everywhere and i came up with this-https://landroverforums.com/forum/modifications-33/fender-trimming-not-rover-purists-28024/

but as you can see by the pics, there are none of the rear doors with it open so you can see the cuts

I'll take pics of mine. I've been meaning to seal them up but never got to it. I'm sure they are slam full of mud by now.

Please do... I want to go to a 35, at a 32 with Zero lift, minimal rubbing, but when I step up, I'm going to a more positive offset rim...

She's already a little tall, going to stay with the RTE 3" spring when i go to a 35.

I've already taken 4" +(?) off the rear haunch behind the tire, and ditched all the cladding and boards, and eliminated the PLASTIC (Hmmph, best4x4xfar my ***! plastic Bumpers.... Grrr) bumpers fore and aft.

FantomRover, you shouldn't need to trim too terribly much. Limiting your uptravel will be key to stopping rub. What size tires do you have? The best way to trim is to flex out your truck in a controlled situation, like on a ramp. Go slowly and get out and check where the tires will rub. Trim a little and the try again. I'm not a fan of major hacking and giant fender flares.

I have the fender trim I used for the front for the rear. I used a hammer and beat the inner door in. I just need to seal it up and put the trim on it.

Brett- I've currently got 285s. right now the rears stuff really well with stock allos but I'm considering swapping to a set of pro comp steelies. I know I could limit up travel, I also know I could get some after market trailing arms and through some spacer washers on there or the obvious bigger lift but I'd rather trim it up. Trust me I'm looking into all options but I'm leaning towards trimming.

Ian- thank you very much. That was just what I was looking for! Do you have any water that likes to venture inside?

I had some water get it when I winched through that but having cut doors wasn't the issue there. They have been open for well over a year now too.
