Have you ever changed them out? Ours only last about 80K and they start to go downhill. I would suggest replacing all 4... you are due for it and you will get a bump in mpg.

I replaced the front 2 a year ago when I had my last bout with a CEL, so maybe I will replace the rear 2 now. Do you happen to know if the multi-function relay under the hood controls the heaters in the o2's? Cause I think mine is bad, and that would explain that.

Let us know what sensors you use and where you get them. My 97 is probably overdue with 112K on it and I'm sure I am running on the originals.

perfect fit means nothing. Working perfectly means everything. Buy them from AB reason being is they are different from previous years. They look the same but are built for AEL.

97 was the cutoff year.

I replaced the 2 in front last year due to a code for bank A, did the back 2 recently.....seems to be running smoother and the mileage is a little better now that the ecu has had time to compute. I went with the ones from AB .

just a note .....the thread size of the sensor is 12mm-1.25 you may want to have a tap handy as one of my front ones messed up the threads getting it out and the new one wouldn't go back in with out cleaning up the threads in the pipe first.
