Flex Plate Clearance Check Location for Shim?
I am in the process of swapping a GEMS 4.6 into our '96 Disco. I am trying to figure out where to take the measurement for the flex plate so I can make sure I have the proper shim in.
I do not know if I want to use the one that came with the 4.6, or the one out of the 4.0, or need to get a new shim. The Rave manual is very vague and their diagram is garbage, and utterly useless.
If someone could enlighten me, that would be great
