You cant flood a fuel injected engine by giving it throttle with the engine not running.
The fuel injectors only inject fuel when the cam sensor tells them to, no input from the cam sensor no fuel.
You have something else going on.

i would check the throttle cable is not stuck, maybe you hit it somehow and it got stuck or check the CC cable is not stuck on something leaving the throttle partially open.

thank you for your reply
do you think the new oxygen sensors have something to do with it?
the car hadnt been driven in 2 weeks
how ever i started it 4 days ago to move it (it was fine then how ever after letting off the gas the revs would climb then go down rapidly
when i start in now the revs raise to 1500 then immediately go to 3000 and increase i shut it off after it got to high
any suggestions on where to start diagnosing?
once again thank you

aww shoot.. This dont sound good..

Check the throttle linkage, there is a little black wheel you can tighten and if you do it will open the throttle.

The you should see it and then a little black wrinkley cover over the cable and then see where the cable attaches to the throttle. It should have a little play in it. Put your finger under it and pull a little make sure its somewhat loose. Better to be loose than tight.
