Those videos are usually pretty good, but this one can get you in trouble.
ALWAYS REMOVE THE FILL PLUG FIRST! Then pull the drain plug.
If you run into some problem with the fill plug you wouldn't be able to run the truck without oil in the differential if you pull the drain first.
