Default Forum Help

I'm glad I joined this forum it has been no help what so ever with any of my questions I've had. But it seems like everybody else gets help.

Hey, way really make everyone wanna hop to and help you. I suggest you take the attitude over to pirate 4x4 they seem to like that sort of thing.

On the contrary I have found this forum to be by far the best and most informative resource on the net.

Now to your problem; there are really only three things that would produce those symptoms. A massive vacuum leak, like if you forgot to hook up the brake booster or didn't tighten the hose clamps on the intake. Second, you put the distributor in wrong or miscounted teeth on the timing chain, or third you got the plug wires on wrong.

Now I read your other posts and you seem not to take advice well. You got a lot of good information about your heat issue prior to your tear down and seemed to it or it all. To me, that sounded like timing also but I'm not at your truck troubleshooting. Also, you were using a Haynes manual which is truly ludicrous. If you spent even five minutes here with at least one slightly attentive eye open you would notice all the multitudinous references to the rave - that is the factory manual you can get for free. Throw that Haynes garbage away immediately.

Last, let me point out that this is a FORUM, meaning you put in as well as take out. I am no rover genius, but when I see somewhere I can help out I try to pitch in and if I have trouble with something and find success I try to post problem and solution so somebody else who has discovered the search function you also seemed to have missed might benefit from it.

Flame away, I got plenty of time and pent up negative energy I'd love to exercise. I'm just sayin what others are thinking reading this. Maybe Abran can help you more he's a way better person than me.

What could you possibly need help with? These trucks never have issues...solid machines, nearly maintainence-free.

My questions were about my previous post 3.9L backfiring through the exhaust with a loss of power under load.
