You start by sealing it shut with marine grade silicone and then unplugging the switch.
Then if you were wise you'd do the same with the rear.

I am sure the rave manual has a diagnosis proceedure, does it at least make noise?

could be bad motor, bad switch, bad ecu for sunroofs, etc.

rave manual here

If you hear the motor, it's most likely the rails. If you don't hear anything at all either you're not getting power to the sunroof motor or the motor has gone bad. Once you've done your diagnostics and know what you need to get the sunroof working let me know. I have all the parts in stock that you might need. They are used, with a warranty and typically come from later model DII's so they are newer than those used on your DI.

Thats the smartest thing I've heard all day. Mine leaks like a sum beach and you can't hear crap when you open them anyway. Think thats what I'm gonna go and forget about it.

That's what I did. I used roofing silicone(black). I fixed all my outside window gaskets with it.

they are definitly super loud when open if you have the roof cross rails in but nice to let out the summer heat when you first get in

op the ecu for them is behind the buttons on the ceiling
